Tono + co. is a woman-owned textile dye studio, based out of Santa Ana, California, focused on developing colorful hand-dyed silk. Tono + co is the passion of Janelle Nicole Thomson, owner of the floral company Lavenders Flowers. Working closely with brides for over a decade, color became the natural center of Janelle's work leading her to the tradition of hand-dyeing fabrics. Tono + co finds its inspiration in the first-hand knowledge Janelle gained while studying painting & color theory in Florence, Italy. In Italian, 'tono' refers to the gradual increase in color tone, creating a fluid color spectrum. Her passions for combining color and texture have evolved into the art of hand-dyed textiles. All of our products are packaged and shipped in sustainably focused and intentionally chosen packaging options.

Since graduating from the well-known Design Academy Eindhoven in 1989, I have been working as a textile designer in the Netherlands. My diverse experiences have enriched my expertise in the field. My profound love for textiles inspired me to explore and enrich the diversity of materials, colors, and patterns in my creations. In 2013, I founded my label, Heartmade Prints by Hellen van Berkel, which mainly focuses on scarves known for their authentic and beautifully layered features. Today, Heartmade Prints is proudly available in over 50 select stores and museums across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the USA. As a passionate advocate of the slow fashion movement, I am committed to producing high-quality, timeless scarves that stand the test of time. Hand embroidery, a unique craft originating from India, plays a significant role in my creations, where skills and expertise are passed down through generations. Sustainability is a core value for me. I exclusively work with natural substances, ensuring my scarves are not only pleasant for your skin but also gentle on nature. To maintain ethical standards, I collaborate with certified factories that ensure fair labor conditions. Building close relationships with our producers and regular visits ensure that our quality standards and working conditions remain up to par.

Kynsho is a Brooklyn Born, Brooklyn Made brand with a focus on designing outwear accessories with style that protects. Our name means in pursuit of personal progress in Zen Buddhism. We design outerwear accessories for the transitions that people make from the indoors to the outdoors. This allows us to re-think how people move through spaces. For the Love Of (FLO) London is the brainchild of Maawura Totoe, a civil engineer, flower enthusiast, and gin and tonic connoisseur (or so she likes to think). FLO London is an online publication which seeks to highlight all of the great stuff going on in London through unique content on food and drink, culture, entertainment and arts, sustainability and travel. Plus, we have an online shop selling a range of lifestyle pieces. Founded in 2019, FLO London was born out of Maawura’s desire to provide a platform for people to better understand the cool things people (particularly women) are doing in the city. This of course meant simultaneously creating a space to showcase her other passions in life, including London markets, the rich and diverse food scene, and a love of weekend brunches. Thus, FLO London was born, an independent platform providing a voice for Londoners who are navigating working and living in the city, whilst encapsulating both the highs and the lows of London.

Art on Scarves was set up by North Wales based artist, Lucy Hay. Lucy's relationship with art finished before it began, when her art teacher told her to give up, as she had no talent whatsoever! After years of avoiding anything remotely creative, Lucy decided there must be an inner artist dying to get out. Enrolling in a morning drawing and painting class for bored housewives, Lucy discovered a talent that had been supressed for years, Art on Scarves was born! As the Company continues to grow, Lucy is joined by a couple of other amazingly talented British Artists, whose designs can be found throughout the collection.

Many years ago, having received a beautiful Hermes scarf as a birthday present, I pictured my drawers full of scarves and decided to make them myself. I pasted stars and flowers from magazines, books and wallpaper on a square background and found someone in India who made up ten samples based on my designs. Amazingly, they came back just as I’d imagined. I took them to a trade show in 2007, pegged up on a washing line and got about a dozen orders from shops. After a couple of years, I moved into cashmere, focusing on neutrals with a star print — now bestsellers. A few years later, I was out shopping and saw a glamorous woman in a knitted hat with a massive pom-pom. I thought: ‘That’s exactly what I need!’ I had some chunky, cable-knit samples made up and at my first sale I sold out. They were especially popular with women like me, who didn’t normally wear hats, I think because a pom-pom is fun — never frumpy. Since then I've developed the collection to include loungewear, socks and bags too! Although I have a warehouse nearby, I work from home and have recruited a dozen other mums to help me. We can all work around our children. I have around 100 stockists in the UK — mostly boutiques such as Iris — and also sell all over Europe, the U.S. and Japan. I always say if you have a good idea, just go for it! I’m so glad I did.

The Photographer / Artist Manny Sanchez was born in Long Island New York to Cuban parents. When Manny was very young his family moved to Los Angeles, where he began his lifelong love of photography. This marked the beginnings of what would become a vast portfolio of images from his travels around the world. In 2010 Manny returned to New York and currently resides in Brooklyn. Inspired by the fashion of New York City he began to work with fabrics as an art medium. Soon he began transferring his pictures onto silks -thus the idea for Manuelle Scarves. Currently selling to several boutiques and museum stores across the US and Canada, including the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.
