HOW WE GOT OUR START In 2014 Dr. Eddie, a practicing pediatrician, decided it was time for children of all ages to have safe and effective products to eliminate the scalp and skin flaking, scaling, and redness associated with seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. People commonly refer to these symptoms as "cradle cap." WHAT MAKES OUR PRODUCTS UNIQUE Weary of using scented products on delicate skin, he developed Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo & Body Wash so that children now have a hypoallergenic, fragrance free shampoo that actually works to eliminate these bothersome symptoms associated with seborrheic dermatitis. After successfully launching our flake fighting medicated product in 2018 we turned to helping soothe Eczema prone skin. We provided one of the first cleansers on the market to comply with pediatric dermatologist recommendations for Eczema cleansers by making it low pH, non-soap, and hypoallergenic. Like many other brand-new parents, Danny and Kelsey wanted the best for Zoey and had worked very hard so they could offer her the best. Our founder, Kristina, is a mom of 3 little ones and the inventor of the ORIGINAL diaper cream applicator. When her first son was born he had a terrible diaper rash that lasted over 40 days. Bringing him relief consumed her every thought. At one point she read that proper diaper cream application included washing your hands BEFORE applying cream. She knew that was not practical so she invented the Baby Bum Brush. Since the brush, she has developed several other products that she (and many others) believe are “Game Changers for Diaper Changers”!
