Inspired by my two daughters, Maïwen & Jahya, my French Beninese origins, and various travels, Jolie Maïya came to life in June 2020. Initially, each piece was imagined, designed, and sewn by me and recently produced in the workshop. Jolie Maïya is concerned about the environment and humans, and the choice was made with care to align with these values. With comfort and freedom as a priority, more than 90% of the clothes are made from natural fibers, particularly BCI cotton, and loose cuts allow children complete freedom of movement. To avoid overproduction and waste, the workshop mobilizes a team of 4 people dedicated to the brand to ensure optimal quality and production speed. Each collection and new drop is made to be comfortable, stylish, high quality, and low maintenance in its care. We aim to to make dressing both enjoyable and effortless for both mothers and children. We carry and design both Holiday wear and sportswear. We are always hard at work to bring you the best in kids fashion and create our own unique fabric prints as well as graphic prints that are uniquely Mon Doux Monde. Affordable children's wear without compromise on quality or cuteness. It is our goal to increase our sustainability and ethical sourcing. We also plan to incorporate a code of conduct agreement with all suppliers in our supply chain to ensure fair environments and conditions. If you have, you know that some of these topics are only found on one side of the gender divide in stores - and all of the rest are on the other. Apparently only boys like trucks, and only girls like unicorns. Boys wear navy blue but not pink (or nearly any other color than gray, blue, and red), and girls get lots of rainbows but no trains. Meanwhile, us poor adult women get florals on everything while men get...cartoons they watched as kids? 80s punk bands? Khakis and gym shirts and a lot of plain black everything. We at Princess Awesome & Boy Wonder know that these gender stereotypes hurt everyone. Girls deserve clothes that tell the world about all the neat things they’re interested in and encourage adults to do more than comment on how pretty they look. Boys deserve clothes that reflect the fact that they are the loving, kind-natured kids we all know and care about - not just “trouble” and “heartbreakers.” And everyone - all individual human beings - deserve to be seen as their true selves and honored for their own unique set of interests. Hello from Bubbabeans!!! My name is Jenni, owner and founder of Bubbabeans. Bubbabeans was created and inspired from our needs as a boutique owner. The name Bubbabeans comes from a combination of our children’s nicknames “Bubba” for baby Jino and “Beans” for his big sister Jasmine. Our boutique, Jenni Beanies, was created in 2017 as a children’s clothing shop offering twirly dresses, leggings and shorts. As our boutique evolved, we discovered a need for unique, quality children’s clothing that are comfy and cozy for all littles. This was the inspiration for the Bubbabeans brand. Hello! I would like to tell you my story. My name is Heidi, I am the proud owner and operator of Oopsie Daisy & Adorable Sweetness, two Online Girls Boutiques. I have an IT degree and worked as an executive in Finance….ugh!... boring! On a very stressful day, I set out to re-create myself. I took stock of my loves and talents. I love to shop, in physical stores or online and have an even greater love of shopping for my two little girls. One of my favorite places to shop was a physical store called Oopsie Daisy. It carried cute, unique quality little girl’s clothes. I was saddened when I found out Kiley was closing her shop. I purchased the company to keep it open. Holding true to the same heirloom quality and “vintage” style I had become fond of. We are more committed than ever to deliver those heirloom quality outfits to display the Wren & James brand that so many have come to love. Since 2012 we've made little girls feel beautiful on their special day with our inclusive sizing and wide variety of fashionable kid-friendly styles. Our sizes range from Baby 3M-24M, Girls 2-12, and Plus 4-20.5 because celebrations shouldn’t come with a size requirement. As a small, family-owned business of immigrants, there’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing girls celebrate their special day with loved ones while wearing our dresses. In 1996 our family immigrated to the United States from South Korea to pursue the American Dream. As professional sewing contractors we started a manufacturing business in the Garment District of Downtown Los Angeles. In 2012 we had the opportunity to purchase Kid’s Dream, one of the many brands we sewed for and in the years since then, we have …increased the number of wholesale clients …grew Kid’s Dream to over 35 countries in the world …given back to our local community and endured the pandemic …inspired young girls through our Ambassador Program …created a group for parents to build a community around raising body positive children …and so much more! Almirah (Anglo-Indian for cupboard) is a place for special things to be stored away: a world of colours, smells and textures. Started by a mother daughter team, Almirah makes clothes, bedding and accessories for children from 0-12yrs. Almirah aims to be culturally connected. We believe in contemporary design with an Indian edge. Our specialty lies in embroidered cottons, soft printed mulmuls and organic hoisery. The Almirah family consists of craftsmen, tailors and skilled artisans which is reflected in our prints, embroideries and style.
