Since studying graphic design and illustration at Newcastle University I've accumulated more than 20 years of experience working for advertising and marketing agencies in London and across the south of England. Eventually I moved to Dorset, on the South Coast of the UK where I now live and continue to work as a freelance designer & illustrator. It is classed as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it has inspired me to produce illustrated posters and cards of Dorset and the surrounding area. These are inspired by the flat graphic style of the travel posters of the '40s and '50s, particularly the artists Frank Sherwin and Norman Wilkinson. Following the success of these prints and cards I now produce new ranges of greeting cards.
