An’du, a small mother/daughter run company in South West London, was born out of the desire to produce high quality hair care with minimal impact on the environment. Their innovative range of shampoos and conditioners are the first UK based hair care bars to contain bio-surfactants. Bio-surfactants are ultra-mild cleansers manufactured through the process of fermentation. They are classed as ‘post-biotics’, gentle cleansers on the scalp with minimal environmental impact. Throughout our range, our products have the same underlying principles, being vegan, cruelty free, plastic free, sulphate and silicone free, pH balanced and plant based. Each shampoo and conditioner type has an individual scent lifting the mindful cleansing process from a hair wash and condition to a truly heightened experience resulting in beautiful shiny hair. Our 100 gm shampoo bar is equivalent to 3 x 250 ml plastic bottles of shampoo, saving 3 plastic bottles from going to landfill. Our packaging is compostable and made with vegetable dyes allowing you to recycle or compost it. Our packaging company is linked to the World Land Trust giving us carbon balanced paper which in turn allows the World Land Trust to protect critically threatened tropical forest. We have bars for different hair types including normal, oily, dandruff, dry and damaged hair as well as a beard bar.
