Thank you for vising our shop! As a pet parent to a adorable Husky named Charming we wanted to get him the best possible treats! But finding high quality treats that he would eat was almost impossible. And fining ones we could take on hikes with us was even more challenging. On one of our fishing adventures we found he had a keen interest in some of the fish we caught for bait. (He was bobbing apples after the fish) We knew we couldn't let him eat the fish raw because of parasites but we wanted to find a way to satisfy his determination to get to the fish. And from that Freeze Dried Dog Treats LLC was born. Thankfully we live on the coast of North Carolina so we have access to a lot of fresh seafood often just hours after being caught. We decided to take advantage of this high quality seafood and researched the safest way to preserve seafood and keep as many of the nutritional benefits without any harmful chemicals or preservatives. We found that if you freeze seafood at a low enough temperature for long enough you can kill all the parasites in the food without cooking the nutrition out of it. From there we freeze dry the food to remove as much moisture as possible to preserve it in its raw state for several years! While we currently focus primarily on seafood and created the Freeze Dried Oceans line. We have found a few other high value treats that dogs love! Things like rabbit heads and Turkey Hearts that drive the pups crazy!
