We start by incorporating better materials such as all natural cotton and linen, and hand printing our designs using eco-friendly water based inks. We strive to reduce our environmental impact by making thoughtful decisions as they relate to our materials and construction processes. Our small accessories and bag linings are made using fabric remnants - a great means of reducing our waste. These choices reflect our core values - that however small, we have a responsibility to "do our part” We understand that by embracing a slow, more sustainable approach, our methods may not reflect the least expensive nor fastest route in which to bring product to market however we believe it results in a better quality product overall. Hi, I’m Theresa, owner and founder of The Old White House. I have been making, repurposing and living a handmade life since I was a kid, and believe that our best chance at a healthy life is to use products that are both created with ingredients that come from the earth and leave as small of a carbon footprint as possible. My business began in Michigan, while I was on a journey to live a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle for both my family and our planet. After using my handmade eco friendly home care products for a while, I began taking them to local markets. In 2017 we moved to Washington, and I started selling my goods at Pike Place Market in Seattle, along with many local markets, it was at this time that I also shifted my focus to my self care products. The Comfort Wraps and Eye Pillows were such a hit at markets, that I started selling them wholesale, so that people everywhere could experience the comfort they bring. I now create all of my goods in my studio in Wenatchee, WA. alongside the beautiful Columbia River. The focus, when I am creating each of my natural products, is to use ingredients that are safe for you, your family and our planet. Bucky, Inc. is a Seattle, WA based company founded in 1992 to design, manufacture and market comfy new pillows filled with natural buckwheat hulls. Our original U-shaped pillow set the standard in personal comfort and is a marvel of simplicity that quickly caught the attention of top retailers across the USA. Soon millions of people were bonding with their Buckys! Since then, Bucky has expanded and evolved our product lines to include a full assortment of natural and essential health and travel products.

Welcome! Belle's Nest began in a brick and mortar in Sierra Madre, Ca in 2008. The intention was to bring together local artisans and handcrafted items. After 10 wonderful years I closed and left my location in order to focus more on my own designs and creative work. Prior to Belle's Nest I had another shop, DUSK in Pasadena, Ca that I opened in my early 20's which lasted 10 years as well. That being said, 20 years has brought me endless knowledge and experience. In addition I am a self taught jewelry maker working primarily in Sterling Silver. Any jewelry that you see available is made personally by me. My home studio is located at the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains in Southern California and I am a Los Angeles native. I love small batch goods that are unique, colorful and tell a story. Over the years, she found a love for aromatherapy and creating self-care products. With a background in Fashion Design and styling, she enjoys designing and producing an array of ready-to-wear pieces for everyday looks. Mission: We create products with consciously sourced materials; recycled cotton macrame cord, beads from local suppliers, and fabrics designed by independent artists. Each product is handmade with the customer in mind and the bigger picture: a portion of profits are always donated to non-profit organizations that aid in women's rights, health research, and environmental causes.
