Co-Founder Cindy Kang struggled with DRY, sensitive skin as well as seasonal allergies and her younger son struggled with bloody noses. She invested in humidifiers, but they were all large, heavy, ugly, and impossible to clean. One night, while putting her son to bed, she fell asleep next to him, with the humidifier running all night. When she woke up, not only had she slept great because her sinuses were clear, but her skin felt fresh & dewy, not tight & dry like usual. Then while packing for a family trip, she couldn’t fit the big humidifier into a suitcase and that’s when the wheels started turning and Hey Dewy was born. She wanted something elegant & portable that would improve the quality of life for her family while not compromising the style of her home.
