Hi, I'm Fraser and I founded Vale Woodcraft in July 2020. What started as a hobby during Covid-19 lockdowns has now developed into my full time job. My aim is to reduce the amount of wood waste that ends up in landfill (Currently in the UK 10 million tonnes of wood waste is generated each year and only 1 million tonnes is recycled). We handcraft our own range of homewares which have been developed in-house using reclaimed wood. We are constantly expanding our product range so check back regularly to see what's been added. If you have an idea for a product you would like made, please get in touch. Our main material source that we use to create many of our products is excess wood, from a shed builder within 2 miles of our workshop, that is not otherwise usable. Most of this would is originally sourced from northern Europe and is slowly grown in a cold climate making it a high quality wood. ​We source hardwood offcuts from independent timber merchants and furniture makers for a small range of our products, all of them are within 5 miles of our workshop. Each of our products is carefully handmade in small batches to make sure they are of the highest quality. Individually handcrafting each item means that every one is unique so you are sure to be receiving, or giving a one of a kind gift. We use a range of recycled and/or recyclable packaging to make sure your order arrives safely whilst helping to protect the environment.

In 2011 my family was forced to shut down our custom cabinet business following the sudden tragic death of my father and employer. My skill sets in construction and custom cabinetry were worthless at that time of economic recession. I began taking all of the remnant lumber from the cabinet shop and turning it into "gifty" wood products - toy building blocks, wood puzzles/games, drink coasters, etc... - and I was frequenting local farmers markets trying to find a niche product to produce. I happened to be set up next to a soap maker at one of these farmers markets. We got to talking, and she began to show me pictures of wood soap dishes made in China and sold on Amazon. She asked if I could duplicate them. Fast forward 12 years and we are now the largest manufacturer of wood soap dishes in the United States, supplying several thousand small soap makers, mid size soap manufacturers, and larger retailers and resellers. Not only do we offer our customers a wide variety of wood soap dish styles and sizes, but we have gathered the successes of countless customers over the years and have compiled a short list of proven sales and business growth strategies that, when implemented, will help soap makers and resellers increase their sales and profits immediately. Puj (Pronounced, “Pudge”) was founded by Ben and Katie Richardson, a husband and wife design team with four kids of their own, with the singular goal of simplifying parenthood through great product design. As designers AND parents, they have a front row seat into both how challenging and how rewarding parenting can be. While bathing their second baby, they knew there had to be an easier, safer, and better way to bathe a newborn. Together, they naturally combined their love of design and parenting and began sketching and prototyping to find a better bathing experience. After months of trying, testing and reworking their design for the ultimate infant bath tub, they finally had a solution that they knew would WOW other parents. Puj wants to simplify parenthood starting on a local level by addressing the needs of parents beyond just baby gear. **Our products are tariff-free.** Hi! We’re Brady and Angela, and in 2019 we left our jobs to start The Rogerie in our laundry room. Today, we make everyday products from old fridges in Kelowna, British Columbia. Why we do it: I was born with with an obsession for inventing and learning, and Angela a passion for spending time outdoors and connecting with nature. We both grew up around loving families, caring teachers, and supportive mentors who put work into fostering our creative abilities and technical disciplines. As we grew up and experienced the real world - the good and the bad - we realized just how immeasurable a gift our upbringing was, and that the only way to honor that gift would be to give something back to our community. Why plastic pollution: Plastic pollution is only one of many challenges humanity faces as it evolves, but it’s a big one. Back in 2019, we were searching for a way to dispose of a pile of plastic packaging we accumulated while moving into our first home together, and discovered just how inefficient recycling is. As we learned more, we began to see a need for the unique mix of technical and creative skills we possess, and decided it was our opportunity to have an impact. The Rogerie isn’t meant to be a brand.
