Each piece is made by Clare in her LA studio. Due to the hand-crafted nature of her work and her inclination for anthropomorphism, no two pieces are identical, with slight variations in shape, size, glaze, and individual expression. Clare's aesthetic comes from her Franco-American upbringing in an artistic household. Her time living in Paris, New York, and California has instilled a strong sense of style that can be found in her objects. Please note that A WAYS AWAY is a small-batch studio that values quality over production quantity.
