Drawn from a lifetime chasing long period swells, Salt Gypsy is a women’s surf company celebrating everyday oceanwomen and style in the lineup. Dedicated to sustainable business, we support the slow fashion movement with On Demand manufacturing processes and working with veterans of the Australian stretchwear industry. Salt Gypsy began life in 2012 as the personal blog of founder, Danny Clayton, while working as a surf guide in the Maldives. Through the blog and two pairs of bespoke surf leggings, Salt Gypsy has evolved into a standalone brand committed to thoughtful design, responsible production and championing confidence in everyday oceanwomen. Salt Gypsy surfwear is made in Australia using Italian fabrics made from 100% regenerated nylon yarn creating long-lasting surfwear for ultimate style on the beach and in the waves.
