As a labor and delivery nurse, launching a jewelry brand was a far cry from her current experience, yet Dana felt driven to move into a more creative space and embrace the challenge of exploring an entirely new career. Merging her ambition with her love for delicate everyday jewelry, Mitchell launched adorn512 in 2010 with an assortment of unique, handmade pieces that were equal parts timeless and modern. The Adorn512 collection is comprised of handmade necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings made of 14k gold, gold-filled, sterling silver and semi-precious stones. Dana creates her jewelry from her own original designs and she is inspired by minimal, organic styles with clean lines. Her love for designing jewelry has led to an ever-evolving product line that is always relevant in the marketplace. Each piece Is locally made in Dana’s studio in Downers Grove.

Growing up in the South around strong-willed ladies, I understood the power of the hoop. These simple earrings were a thing of beauty and subtle strength. Women are united by many things, but the hoop says to all, “That woman has style.” On the Lacrosse field, I further understood how women protect and support each other on and off the field. With my love of fashion, college graduation money and the determination instilled in me by Grandma Gaga, I designed my hoops and made it happen for me and for you. From the classic tortoise my preppy mother wore to the hot pink, there is a hoop that will help you express yourself. My hoops are lightweight and hypoallergenic (a lesson I learned the hard way). From selling drawings on her bedroom door as a child, to vending on the Official Vans Warped Tour at age 17, to starting her Health Coaching service at age 23. She knew that her calling was to create something with her own hands, put it out into the world and for it to serve a purpose; to bring joy to other people. Today she is a 30-year old based out of Sacramento, CA running the business while her incredible team handcrafts and assembles all of our products with love.

A native of Los Angeles, Janna Conner designs simple yet elegant jewelry inspired by the vivid colors and multicultural richness of the Californian landscape. She holds a degree in Chinese history from UCLA, where she balanced her intellectual interests with her passion for art and design. Janna has honed her philosophy and aesthetic through her extensive world travels. She has lived in Hong Kong and travels to Paris regularly to visit family and seek creative inspiration.
