Southern Scents Fragrances was a brand I started in my house to help raise money for a mission trip to the rural Alaska villages. I was a teacher and enjoyed finding a creative outlet to help with the stress of teaching and it was a bonus that it allowed me to raise money for my trip. The business continued to grow and I was able to leave teaching and homeschool my two daughters. I quickly outgrew my kitchen and I have relocated my business 3 times due to needing more space. I lost all of my inventory in 2022 during Hurricane Ian and had to start completely over. Since starting over, I have continued to grow. I have been bleesed to be able to hire additional help which allows us to have a quick turn around time and ensures you get your orders quickly. This business has allowed me to leave teaching, pursue my dreams of running a business, homeschool my daughters, and be able to raise money to do yearly mission work in the rural villages of Alaska. I love everything freshie related and have a goal of being the "One Stop Freshie Shop".
