Launched in February 2017 by Joyce Azria, AVEC LES FILLES quickly gained traction with millennial women across America with its "Paris-meets-LA" aesthetic. Offers aspirational design elements with playfully sophisticated French appeal.

Ophelia & Indigo was created in the midst of the pandemic by friends Claire and Lucy, who both relocated to New York with their families from London due to work. Former fashion buyer and ethical sourcing specialist, Claire and Lucy, who has a background in PR and copywriting, initially met through their children’s school in Brooklyn. They later worked together on a number of professional projects. During long-walks and chats throughout lock-down, a vision for what a fashion brand might look like emerged based on their similar aesthetic, passions and a desire to create something with purpose (Click here to read about their partnership with the Pajama Program). The starting point was to design the perfect throw-on dress for the heat of the New York summer, made from carefully selected, ethically sourced Indian printed cotton at an affordable price-point. Inspiration was drawn from the vintage pieces Claire had sourced on her many buying trips across the world but with a modern update and the collection evolved from there.

Salua features exquisitely beautiful natural fabrics in comfy silhouettes, all made in soft breathable cotton and laces. It is a mother-daughter operation – everything is designed in Seattle, and manufactured in a small factory in Colombia, where the label first started in 1993. The line was given a bit of a reboot in 2009, and since then the pair have further grown their small piece of paradise of ease and beauty, with handcrafted detail matched with a fresh unrestrained sensibility. Think: lots of white, sheers, and lace on pieces perfect for a honeymoon or romantic getaway.

We have since then been producing textiles in Norway at our island in the fjords.

The Maryland based business was started by founder and owner Liza Jarrett and has evolved from painted furniture and whimsical gifts items to stylish, fresh, and affordable apparel and accessories for all ages inspired by brightly colored prints and unique trims. “The clothing that we carry will be worn by people who celebrate everyday day life and feel happy and relaxed wearing each piece. There is great joy in supplying items that incorporate style and happiness and the feedback we receive is inspirational and contributes to the ideas behind our items. The excitement of offering a unique collection of apparel and accessories with a twist for ladies, teens, and girls at affordable prices makes each piece unique and fun.” Our pieces can be worn from the beach to the cocktail party and offer fresh fashion with a twist. The line also includes adorable coordinating outfits for girls and their dolls inspired by Liza's daughter, Bayly who as a child always wanted to match her doll. Liza Jarrett is a native of Owings Mills, Md. and she earned her BSM at Tulane University in 1987 and also studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Upon graduating college she was hired into the executive training program for Macy's NY where she was a department manager and part of the store opening team in Tyson's Corner, Va. Her love of fashion and retail continued to grow as a buyer for Merry Go Round stores until she decided to start her own brand!

In addition, we also mix these recycled cotton yarns with polyester recovered from water bottles to ensure millions of these bottles never go into landfill waste. We constantly endeavor to have a positive impact on the environment and were one of the first Canadian companies to stop the use of fur, leather, skins or silk in our products.

Our clothing is ethically crafted in Slovenia, EU from sustainable and recycled materials in collaboration with two family-owned sewing companies and a knitting studio. A transparent local production enables us to follow a low-waste on-demand model, meaning we produce our items in small batches and there is no surplus stock.
