While the legal minimum wage in Nepal falls below a realistic living wage, Royal Handicrafts takes conscious effort to reward 100% of our workers fairly. As a result, our workers have been able to pay school fees for their children, breaking the cycle of generational poverty that’s far too common in Nepal. Founded in 1990, Atenti's aesthetic is inspired by the vibrancy and spirit of Andrea’s hometown of Buenos Aires.  Eventually daughter Nina was added to the design mix.  Now, together, they work with materials sourced from U.S. mills and throughout the world. Fresh shapes and daring blends of fabrics and handmade embellishments are harmonized to evoke each season’s design moments. Once you purchase one of our products we dare you not to find another unique piece that speaks to who you are. Please note ship date for orders are generally a generous estimate. Orders usually ship in 3 weeks. We keep a small stock but most items are sewn, by us, to order. If you need merchandise sooner, please give us a call and we can work with you to let you know what is in stock for faster delivery. We do not wait for you to order your goods and then manufacture them and ship them to you from overseas where often they get delayed in US Customs and it is nearly 6-8 weeks before you might see your product.
