About Sarah Schools Art

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a paintbrush in my hand. I come from an artistic family and was encouraged to flex my creative muscles at a young age. I find inspiration in the Lowcountry landscape, mark-making of the 20th century impressionists, and the unique ways light, shadow and color interact. That inspiration took me to Appalachian State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. This background in graphic design has led me to experiment with digital mediums and methods of creating art. I now reside in Charleston, South Carolina. Read their story
