About Tether Jewelry

Tether was created in 2014 by founders Sherry Wan and Paul Shinichi as an experiment to peek into a future unknown, using innovative designs inspired by a passion for machines, science fiction, and architecture. The two met 20 years ago when Paul and Sherry worked together at a premier piercing studio in Berkeley, CA, where Paul started his career as a professional body piercer of over 20 year. Reunited years later, they saw a gap in the market for beautiful, unique designs that were made with materials and finishes that adhere to their values and ethos of the piercing profession. With that, Tether was born. Sherry and Paul take pride in sourcing the highest quality materials and finishes for their jewelry designs.
