About Rosa Pietsch

I'm an independent designer, making colourful, bold and creative costume jewellery from my studio in Bristol, UK. Having graduated from a fashion design degree back in 2010, I embarked on a career in textiles design for a womenswear brands, but soon begun working on my own jewellery designs in the evenings and weekends - I'd started teaching myself how to make and sell jewellery as a teen, and I wanted to revisit the idea! I like to use an eclectic mix of colours, textures and inspirations for my designs. My background in print, pattern and embroidery is a key influence in my work, and I often gravitate towards vintage-inspired, floral or botanical imagery. My jewellery is made using a mix of laser-cut and engraved materials. Usually, I create each design in a variety of colour combinations to allow customers to select colours that suit them best. This also makes for a lovely display in stores or at events. My goal is to create pieces that people feel great in - many of my customers have told me that they always get stopped and asked where they bought their jewellery from! I love the idea that something I've made can start a conversation between strangers in the street. Wearing some original, colourful jewellery can feel really uplifting, so I always try to create pieces that are a little different. Read their story
