Altitude was born from the idea of the Campania entrepreneur G.De Luca, known in the import and export sector. The name “Altitude” was born as a result of business trips to the Middle East. The entrepreneur, impressed by the mountain ranges and the passion for the brands of the Bel Paese outside the confines of the Boot, decides to create his own brand that represents the relationship between nature and man, between the very high mountain ranges visited and the highest spiritual conception that the Middle Eastern peoples express. A perfect cocktail therefore, combined with a passion for fashion, taste and the desire to offer people a brand that can be accessible to everyone, give life to an Italian start-up that starts in 2021 experience in the world of e-commerce.

In the heart of creativity and nostalgia, I am a maker with an unwavering passion for breathing new life into the forgotten stories woven into vintage needlepoints. Each piece of my art is a testament to the timeless tales and intricate craftsmanship that once adorned homes with love and dedication. I embark on a journey to rescue these exquisite needlework treasures from the shadows of the past, transforming them into wearable art pieces that resonate with the soul. I launched my brand in 2015, repurposing French vintage tapestries and giving them a second life through a reworked collection of unique fashion and accessories creations. I create one-of-a-kind pieces from these beautiful treasures from the past and it's also for me a way to celebrate the women who used to sew for months these incredible pieces of art. Taking it down from the walls to wear them everyday in the streets wherever you go ! Each creation is handmade with love and care in my studio in Marseille. Keen to support trades that have become rare (remelishing, shortening, hosiery, knitting, etc.) she has been perpetuating this know-how for over 100 years thanks to her Normandy workshop. In 2023, she reinvented 100% made in France manufacturing with a new knit creation that affirms a cool, feminine and chic style. Knitwear plays the big part and affirms a nonchalant and joyful elegance. Timeless women's wardrobe are combined with strong pieces where volumes, colors and details embrace the spirit of the times. The yarns and raw materials selected from the best European spinners offer a knit with absolute comfort and natural sensuality. The brand is also committed to a sustainable approach by giving priority to natural and sustainable materials, and by promoting environmentally friendly production. It produces only 2 collections per year and manufactures its pieces in limited quantities in order to produce as accurately as possible and avoid unsold stocks. It ensures a second life for clothing in a circular economy logic and offers the lifelong reparability of its knitwear, made possible thanks to the preservation of our sons in our workshop.
