My whole family - Grandfather, Grand-Uncles and Father - were all potato men. So naturally I became a potato chip man! We're an all hands on deck family business, with my wife and two sons along for the ride. Joe Chips are kettle cooked in small batches which ensures the crunchiest of chips and the gnarliest of looks.

Christie's was founded with a spirit of compassion and a simple objective: to ensure people with a variety of dietary preferences can enjoy classic beloved flavors of potato chips. Christie's culinary background in fine dining created the basis for the brand. She wanted to take the same precision and care for ingredients, but bring it to a product that was fun, accessible, and a favorite among so many of us. It was with this knowledge that the brand began in her Santa Monica kitchen. Our Story: Ancient Crunch was born from a bet between our founders Steven and Seth to create a better-tasting tortilla chip using only the healthiest, real ingredients. After a few failed attempts and a lot of experimentation with beef tallow, Steven succeeded, and both friends quit their day jobs to bring MASA to life. After seeing how successful MASA was, Ancient Crunch recently launched Vandy Crisps: a potato chip that follows the same philosophy. Our Chips: MASA Chips are made with just three simple, high-quality ingredients: organic nixtamalized corn, grass-fed beef tallow, and sea salt. No seed oils, pesticides, or artificial additives—just pure, uncompromised flavor. Vandy Crisps follow the same principles and are also made with just three simple, high-quality ingredients: naturally grown potatoes without CIPC, grass-fed beef tallow, and sea salt. Our Process: We start with either nixtamalized corn tortillas (an ancient Aztec method that makes corn more digestible) for MASA or with naturally grown potatoes for Vandy. The tortillas or potatoes (depending on the product) are then fried in 100% grass-fed tallow, a nutrient-dense fat that imparts a rich flavor. Finally, we season the chips with natural spices sourced from artisanal growers worldwide—without any chemical additives or artificial flavors.

Pop Daddy was born out of the passion—some would say obsession—that Pop Daddy Snacks Founder’s Mark and Erin Sarafa had for microwave popcorn. Mark and his family were eating microwave popcorn almost every evening when he decided to do some research. When he learned about the chemicals used in microwave popcorn, he realized he needed to find a new, healthier way to feed his family’s addiction! Mark bought a large popcorn machine and started experimenting with different kernels and flavors in his basement, passing out his popcorn to friends, family, and neighbors.Mark and Erin were thrilled the popcorn was so popular, and after two years of giving away his popcorn for free, his wife Erin, and two kids, J.T. and Grace, suggested he sell it. In 2013, Pop Daddy became Mark’s full-time job, with the idea of Bold Snacks made with Big Heart becoming the backbone of the company. In 2018,our Seasoned Pretzel business was born when Erin's cousin was visiting and brought her homemade seasoned pretzels as a gift. The family loved them and began making them at home. Mark brought some to work and the PopDaddy employees convinced him to package and sell them. Today in 2021, Pop Daddy Snacks offer 10 unique popcorn flavors along with 8 Bold and Unique Seasoned Pretzel Flavors. As a teenager, I was diagnosed with multiple debilitating autoimmune conditions that almost wrecked my life. I was fatigued, overweight, and depressed. But with my family’s love and support, I was able to get better. Together, our family of seven (siete!) started exercising in my parents’ backyard, and we even opened up our own CrossFit gym. We began learning about the ways that food can either heal or harm us. At my brother's urging, I decided to adopt a low-inflammation, grain-free diet, and my whole family chose to join me for the journey. As a Mexican-American family from South Texas, the tacos and fajitas that we used to enjoy on flour and corn tortillas just didn’t taste the same on a lettuce leaf! So I began making grain-free tortillas for my family, and they loved them. I knew we had something really special when my Grandma Campos told me that my tortillas tasted better than the homemade flour tortillas she’d made for decades! My family knew that we couldn’t keep our delicious, grain-free Mexican food to ourselves, so we’re delighted to share it with you, from our dining table to yours. Welcome to Route 11 Potato Chips! We kettle cook only 25lbs of chips at a time. This gives the potatoes space to develop lots of curl in the body and a perfect crunch. They burst with wholesome, natural potato flavor. We finish by hand-seasoning them with intense, unique, or sometimes classic flavors, turning America's favorite snack food into an art form. We also built our facility from the ground up to to be efficient, safe, and as environmentally responsible as we can make it. We even recycle the dirt off our potatoes! We want everyone to be able to enjoy our chips, so we cook in 100% expeller pressed, high oleic sunflower oil and keep our whole factory free of gluten, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts. The multiple awards our chips have won over the years attest to how taking time to do something really well creates quality that can't be matched on a larger scale.

Weird name, right? Even weirder when you find out we don’t sell chicken feed, forestry services, or even mushrooms. So if it’s not a product, or even an ingredient, just what the heck is it? Hen of the Woods is an attitude — a tireless belief that there has got to be a better way. It all started with a salad, and three Cincinnati chefs who were absolutely convinced that there had to be a better way to make gluten-free croutons. Countless trials later we found it, and our Red Wine Vinegar potato chips born. That better crouton became a runaway hit, and grew into a complete line of full-flavor, better-than-the-other-guys potato chips that we sold to like-minded food lovers, restaurants and breweries. Surely, we said to ourselves 20,000 conference calls later, there had to be a better way to share our products with people who would really love them — a way to sell them without selling out.
