As a former educator, Nikki, owner and creator of Nikki Doodles, initially started doodling illustrations meant to be used in education. The shift to greeting cards was a decision made to honor a close loved one who had recently shown an interest in making cards but lost her battle to cancer before she was able to do so. Nikki has always felt receiving a tangible card in this digital world to be that much more special in creating connections with purposeful meaning behind them. This belief paired with her desire to honor her Aunt Liz by designing the cards Liz did not get the chance to is the fuel behind the motivation to spread smiles through cards, the same way Liz did with her presence.
