Bahar Kaya's mother had huge issues after coloring her hair for years with very toxic chemical brands. She wanted to find a product that was cleaner, safe to use. A product that did not irritate her scalp. Eventually she found a formula from a well known German Organic Chemist. The formula was nowhere perfect but it was a start. After working with numerous colorist at 100's of salons we formulated something special: a line of hair color and hair care that had a pleasant aroma and had amazing results. It not only covered gray but also never irritated the scalp or damaged the hair. After putting it in salons all over Europe we realized we had to make an affordable color kit so customers could buy it direct and apply at home. Success took years. We started in 1992 and eventually opened our own factory where we made sure we were sustainable. The biggest joy was the remarks and reviews we got. We had created a formula that did not exist in any other brand. Our difference was that instead of using toxic chemicals we used body heat or heat from a hair dryer to open cuticles to deposit color. All our products were formulated to feed the hair inside out. With vitamins, minerals and essential oils that are good for the hair and scalp.
