There are no middlemen, Pachamama is entirely owned by the farmers themselves. We are employed by farmers to roast their best coffee here in North America, in order to access the market that values their harvest the most. Pachamama Coffee is a global cooperative led by co-founder and chairwoman Merling Preza, who represents 2,300 coffee growers in northern Nicaragua. Collectively, Pachamama is owned by thousands of smallholders in Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico and Ethiopia.
