I became inspired to get more creative and then decided to turn my hobby into a small business in hopes to bring joy to others with all my handmade pieces! What id like to believe that makes my products unique is my incorporating the evil eye which is a symbol that is used in my Turkish culture believed to protect bad energy and evil glare. Hey all! I'm Ashley, and I've always admired the art of Macrame, but for some reason I viewed it as something I wouldn't be able to do myself. Prior to picking up the art & to opening my Etsy shop, I was a Graphic Designer working in the Travel Industry...and then the global pandemic hit, and unfortunately, I was laid off from my dream job. On the bright side, I was given the time to give Macrame a try for myself and quickly fell in love with it. While I love Graphic Design, it feels amazing to have found another outlet to express my creativity through. I quickly began to create too many pieces to keep hanging around my house, and I figured it was time to give selling a go. Since then, I've had the pleasure of watching my new found hobby evolve into a business — and with that, I sincerely appreciate you being here.

Cat is a stay-at-home mom who picked up macrame as a hobby to help combat postpartum blues & her mental health struggles. She was desperate to find a healthy coping mechanism while balancing the responsibilities of a mom and housewife. Macrame became her greatest escape, her happiness. For the first time, Cat felt so passionate about macrame that she invested in herself and started her own business in October of 2020.
