I’m making all kinds of macrame products such as plant hangers, wall art, coasters, mandalas… All my products are handmade and use organic materials like foraged driftwood and cotton cords. All the cords used in the process are 100% Recycled Cotton bought on Etsy to work with small business owners

Anyone can create a product that solves a problem OR makes people feel good about themselves. Sisters-in-law, Lisa Harrington and Kimberly Martinez, were inspired to create a product line that does both. Their mission began 19 years ago. Lisa worked as a pediatric nurse and was required to wear an employee ID badge. Her 8 year-old daughter Katie created a beaded necklace for her mom to wear so she could “remember her” while she was at work. Lisa clipped her ID to the beaded necklace and a new product category was born! Her co-workers at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital loved the concept and were clamoring for one of their own. Lisa and Katie created a cottage business making and selling these beaded ID necklaces that allowed for creative expression and personality at work, replacing the boring “shoe lace” style lanyards and badge reels provided by the hospital security department. Lisa shared the overwhelming response to her ID necklaces with her sister-in-law Kimberly, at a family Christmas dinner. Kimberly, a former Fortune 50 executive and mother of 3 who had been downsized as a result of the events of 9/11, saw a huge business opportunity in Lisa’s story. Fueled by adrenaline and outline a rough business plan on the back of a Christmas card envelope. The following morning she convinced Lisa that they needed to free working women around the world from the fashion disaster that comes from wearing an employee ID badge and Bonitas International was born!

Creative Thinker, Maker, Doer - Handcrafting my way through life Hi there! My name is Rachel, the redhead behind The Redhead Design Shop. Designing is something that has always come natural to me. Even as a child you could find me crafting or sketching something! I eventually streamlined my creativity into going into Architecture school! There I learned the necessary tools to go from designing to actually hand crafting projects. I would not be who I am today, or make the hand made items I craft without going to Architecture school. From late night design studio sessions to learning the proper way to learn to use wood shop tools, it all culminated into this shop! My shop start with digital downloads and has now flourished into a love of handcraft, one of a kind items. In 2017, I took a leap of faith and added the sea glass inspired table numbers to my shop. Fun fact, I actually made these for my wedding and they were loved by so many that I added them to my shop. From there my shop grew with more and more wedding decor, gifts and now baby decor. In August of 2020, we added a little one to the family. I guess it helps when new life events come along! They put my creativity into overdrive! My creativity is something that truly sets me a apart from others. I absolutely love what I do! I hope that you love my items as much as I love making them. Hello Holly was born from a desire to spread love, joy, & encouragement every day. What better way to do that than with handmade personalized jewelry, accessories, & gifts? We make thoughtful gift giving easy! It all began in 2014 when I helped my daughter with a beaded bracelet fundraiser for a cosmetology school trip and realized how much I enjoyed being creative and using my hands. Then I took an online class & started making leather cuff bracelets with hand-stamped metal blanks with my daughter. I was having so much fun and soon I started hearing "you should really sell these!" Before I knew it, friends, family, & even total strangers were wanting to buy my cuffs - and that's when Hello Holly was born. I was , & still am humbled that people want to buy something that I make with my own two hands. Since opening my Etsy Shop in the Fall of 2014, I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams. Thanks to your continued support, we were able to add a Universal Laser in 2022 to expand from hand-stamped to laser-engraved items.
