Hello! I’m Alex :) I founded Salsa Vega with the dream of making my family recipes available for you all to enjoy. My father was born in Mexico City, so naturally I love Mexican food. I’ve always been disappointed by jarred salsas in grocery stores and worked hard to create products that taste like a traditional Mexican table salsa — the kind that people are scraping out of the bowl at the end of the meal. Our salsas are just that — I took my father’s recipes and scaled them for production using fresh, quality ingredients. We recreated his recipes and maintained the freshness of a homemade salsa, while being shelf stable and eliminating the use of preservatives or dyes.
