When I was itty I had an inordinate amount of creativity flowing from within me! I would cut my Barbie's hair & paint her face, I would trim the cat's fur & whiskers and decorate every window of our house, for each holiday! Once I used left over roofing shingles to create a couch for my under-the-porch-playhouse! My creativity is constant, whereas my medium isn't always! I sew, paper-craft, paint and stamp! I also love photography and writing. I relish all different types of materials! Yummy fabrics (duck canvas is my most fav!), ribbons, threads, twine, reclaimed wood, home-made papers-- But mostly, swanky sweet, sweet love! When my daughter entered the world in 2006 she was my newest canvas! I loved dressing her up-- bows, frills and all sorts of swank! In 2009 I found out I was having a boy and was determined that he too would be swanky! While my art has been tamed, my insatiable desire to create has not! Art and Craft Fairs have been my Art's home until the year 2011-- I decided to join the Etsy marketplace! Here I get to sell my art but I also get to participate in life stories... I get to send gifts to loved ones, I get to help decorate for baby showers, I get to swankify other's lives. We attach great importance to the selection of our fabrics, both in the quality of their weaving, their softness and in their traceability. We are extremely proud to manufacture 100% of our creations in France, from cut to label installation: everything is made by our partner workshop in Pau, by hand and by a human-sized team.

After the passing of Janet’s husband from Asbestos Cancer, she was left to raise her 13 year- old son on her own. Even though she was busy being a full- time mom, Janet still felt as though she was missing something from her life. Instead of going back into the workforce, she felt driven to reinvent herself. Janet felt inspired to give back to the community by helping other busy working families. It was through babysitting and taking care of other infants that Janet discovered the infant body suit had not changed for over 100 years. While driving home one evening, Janet questioned why the body suit was still made with snaps or zippers when everything else these days was made with Self Fasteners. Janet’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked into gear. She immediately began making patterns and prototypes using her babysitting families as models for a no snap/ no zipper bodysuit. After receiving much positive feedback, Janet perfected her prototype and launched the now award-winning Skadoosie.

Hi!! My name is Cassie and I am an apparel designer/artist. I started this line about 8 years ago after leaving my full time job in the fashion industry. We have shipped to over 1000+ boutiques across the country and we sell at local markets and fairs on the weekends. I came up with the name Paper Cow for two reasons: To let our audience know our graphics are hand drawn, making it a true handmade product. And because the cow quickly became the stand-out character as I was sketching the animals. The line started out with just 4 animals and expanded from there! We also do quite a bit of custom items for our shops including youth and adult sizing by special request...We love working with you on whatever your shop may need! I currently live in Los Angeles with my husband and 3 kids including twins! When owner, Amanda had her first child, Harper KINSley, she became obsessed with researching the baby products she was using, so of course this included the clothing she was putting her baby in. This is when she found the importance in buying quality, organic fabrics. When her daughter was about 3 months, Amanda was experiencing PPD. As a stay at home mom she was SO happy to be spending her time with her daughter but felt she wanted to do “more.” She found joy in dressing her daughter up so she thought, “Why not make my own clothing brand?” Fast forward 6 months later and Little Kins Company is now open! Little Kins company is a fast growing baby clothing company that has timeless, practical, everyday pieces. All of our creations are diaper change friendly, and TAG-less for comfort.
