Lotusfeet is a social enterprise, empowering artisans of the Philippines. The wholesale business was set up in 2007, with the aim of providing economic security through regular employment and patronage. We have worked in partnership, for over ten years, with eight small family businesses and women's cooperative collaborating in the design and production of jewellery and fashion accessories, employing Fair Trade working principles and using natural and sustainable materials where possible. The handicraft industry is a large employer of the skilled and traditional craftmanship of the Filipino artisan. Many in extensive areas of the country depend on the industry for a living but only few are set up as entrepreneurs or direct exporters. We work and partner with smaller independent groups, individuals and families who have set up their own micro and cottage businesses or who were once employed by larger enterprises that are no longer in business. Others are independent designers and artisans lacking resources or access to international markets and opportunities. Our partnerships have created jobs and training opportunities for marginalised individuals and communities, education, health care access, fair living wages and maintained working conditions.

Momma Goose Products, Ltd. was born in 2010 out of a mother's desire to find the most natural products to use for her children. Initially, I found it difficult to find products that I could trust to be completely safe, effective and truly natural for my little ones. After much research, I started making, and importing, all natural products for my own use. As my babies grew and our family grew, I realized that there was a void in access to these quality natural products in North America. When an opportunity for new beginnings presented itself by way of a geographical move for our family, I sold my previous business and embarked on a mission to provide natural products to other moms who want what I wanted for my children … Momma Goose Products Ltd was born! Now, over six years later, Amber Goose carries over 35 styles and colors of genuine Baltic Amber Teething necklaces, as well as a selection of teething bracelets, and matching adult amber necklaces. A few years after starting with Baltic amber and Hazelwood I was offered the opportunity to purchase another Canadian company who had been making fantastic natural teethers and toys. RiNGLEY and ZooLEY offer another facet to teething babies - something organic and all natural for them to chomp their gums into! We are now the enthusiastic purveyors of all you need for your teething baby.

We are Derya Aguday and Fotis Merakos. We now live in Brooklyn, but we grew up surrounded by the traditional ethnic art of the Mediterranean. We stayed warm under handwoven blankets, our mothers would bring out handmade lace tablecloths for family holiday meals, embroidery decorated our grandmothers’ homes and our grandfathers could make tables out of wood. We spent months traveling around the villages and towns of Turkey in order to find the most authentic local artisan families, who run high-quality, eco-friendly and ethical productions. With their traditional looming techniques and our garment and pattern design, we are happy to be able to introduce the world to these unique items. Starting each day with art brings so much peace and readies me for the inevitable busy-ness of life.
