The story of Elos began with Tom's passion for creating a beginner-friendly skateboard. For over a decade, Tom helped his friends enjoy the freedom of skateboarding, but most boards were designed for extreme sports. So, he built stable boards for new learners that are fun for experienced riders too. On October 18th, 2016, Elos launched its first Classic Model on Kickstarter with the support of 600 backers. Since then, Elos has grown from a passion project to a successful business. Elos skateboards are designed for durability, lasting around 7 years with basic maintenance. We use sustainable materials, including responsibly sourced wooden decks, and our packaging is minimal and reusable. Our factories prioritize high yield rates, reducing environmental impact. Elos is dedicated to making you ride more, drive less, and connect to public transportation for longer journeys.
