Bridgetown Papers was launched in 2004, after returning from an inspiring two years living in London where I had collected a trove of ephemera from collectors’ fairs and antique shops across the UK and Europe. My first editions of paper goods were composed from the bounty of these travels. For most of my professional career I was a collage illustrator. I created commissioned works for a wide variety of editorial and corporate clients. Since that time, my approach has evolved from a layered, dimensional look to a bright graphic style. My cards tap into universal themes that speak to our distinctive passions—the joys of gardening, the excitement of travel, a love of wine (or a good cocktail), the thrill of a new baby, a celebration of an addicted golfer, an avid tennis player or the devoted reader. My extensive line of health-related cards speaks to “whatever ails you”, from knee pain, foot problems, heart issues, back pain, even menopause and snoring! Bridgetown Papers (www.bridgetownpapers.com) also creates custom notecards and commissioned artwork to commemorate people, places, and events!
