Omnom is a bean-to-bar chocolate factory based in Reykjavík, Island, founded in 2013 by Kjartan Gíslason and Óskar Þórðarson. Omnom began as an experiment, a challenge, with a desire to understand chocolate and its production from scratch. As a cooking war Kjartan is familiar with chocolate of sole origin. He started experimenting with flavors and textures. He received positive feedback early on and so he got together with his childhood friend Óskar and in a short time they set up a small production facility in a converted gas station in Reykjavik. Together, they bring the best cocoa beans from the world to Iceland and process them into wonderful chocolates using many regional ingredients.
