Pet Qwerks Toys. Enriching the lives of pets is our top priority. Pet Qwerks was started with a single toy, the Babble Ball. That was our first product and it remains our flagship today. How It All Started: In 2003, Jim Gick’s dog Koko brought him his favorite toy. The toy was broken and Koko was asking his dad to fix it. Not sure quite how to fix it yet, Jim put the toy on a workbench in the garage where it stayed until one day when a trip to the hardware store changed everything. Jim came home with a rubber yoyo ball and an idea. He worked on Koko’s toy – reimagining it – until it became the first prototype of what is now the Babble Ball. Innovation Every product made by Pet Qwerks is carefully crafted with the assumption that pets are smart. It is done with the care and safety of your pets. In 2013, Jim decided it was time to expand the offerings of Pet Qwerks Toys and added dog chews to the product line. First, he noticed how much dogs like deer antlers, but that they weren’t always safe. So he created an antler option without the fear of splintering. The Flavorit® Bone came next and since Jim was on a roll, he invented the BarkBone®. Another chew toy that would change the world of dog chews forever. It’s a dog chew that gives your dog an authentic experience of chewing on a bone. Our BarkBone category has expanded since. We now have over a hundred SKU’s of dog chews. All the ingredients of our dog chews are sourced in USA and proudly Made in USA.Read their story
