WAXON Studio is a small textile studio in Asheville, focusing on the art of color on fabric. Using only low-impact dyes and plant-based fibers, our team of local female artists create products for your closet and home with a hand-dyed touch. At WAXON we dye everything ourselves, using techniques from shibori, tie-dye, ice dye, batik, and low water immersion traditions. Dyeing by hand is our passion. Our mission is to share our knowledge and expertise with those who echo our ethos. Our kits are assembled by us in our studio, using professional dye powders and our own unique patterns tutorial featuring hand drawn illustrations. Our stickers are top-notch water resistant vinyl, printed in the USA with super clean edges, featuring our handmade batik designs (that we do on cloth first with real beeswax and dyes). They're waterproof and vibrant, sure to please customers with an eye for handmade detail.
