About Monteleone Italian Peppers in Oil
5.0
Monteleone Foods was born in 2010 out of the hard work and determination of its co-founders, Dino and Susanne Martin, to bring a product to market that has been produced in many northeast Ohio homes and restaurants for decades, Italian Style Peppers in Oil (peperoni sott'olio). Italian Style Peppers in Oil originated in the Italian region of Calabria and made their way to Youngstown, Ohio by way of the many Italian immigrants who settled there, including our grandparents. Our mother, like many other Italian-Americans in the area, preserved the legacy of making these flavorful peppers for her family and friends. Monteleone Foods continues this Calabrian tradition by starting with the freshest, all natural ingredients, blended with Italian herbs to create a flavor like no other. The Monteleone name pays homage to Dino's father, Joe Martin (nee Nazerine Joseph Monteleone) and was the person that always made sure that my mother made enough peppers for not only our household, but for friends and other family as well!

Artisanally brined and hand-packed in the farm-rich region of Eastern Pennsylvania, every jar of Crisp & Co. starts with sourcing local, fresh ingredients right from the farm. Crisp & Co. was founded in 2012 in Hockessin, Delaware. Founder and unabashed foodie Thomas Peter has a master's degree in biomedical engineering from Cornell University, as well as a serious love for pickles. He combined his two great passions, along with a background in molecular gastronomy, to create our award-winning, uniquely delicious pickles. As demand for Crisp & Co. products rapidly grew, Tom transferred ownership of the company to Derek Zukovich and his family of Stone County Specialties, Inc. The Zukovich family have been in the specialty food business for over 40 years and have allowed the brand to continue to grow each product on a larger scale while still maintaining the same care and attention to detail with each batch that Tom set out to achieve. Today, our lineup goes beyond the ‘cuke and includes our award-winning pickled beets, mushrooms, and dilly beans. We believe that pickling is not just a means for extending the shelf life of produce but rather a means to bring to light its potential! We hope that you will enjoy our pickles with the same zeal in which they are created and enjoy the taste of your favorite fruits and vegetables all year long.

Twenty years ago, we started in a small one-bedroom apartment kitchen in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, using fresh produce from the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket. Small Steps Towards Big Success... Between 2004 and 2009, our pickles caught attention when we won Best in Show at the Rosendale International Pickle Festival. This led to the launch of Rick’s Picks at NYC farmers’ markets and partnerships with Whole Foods, marking the beginning of our journey as a national brand. We became known for our hand-packed, all-natural pickles, made in season with produce from trusted local farmers. Our unique flavors and exceptional quality earned us numerous industry awards. From 2009 to 2019, we expanded into food service, deepened our retail presence, broadened our product line, and grew our distribution channels. In 2019-2023, we launched our on-the-go Snack Packs and introduced our bite-sized potato chip-flavored jars, while also enhancing our online platform. Today, Rick’s Picks continues to craft specialty pickles from around the world, blending the traditions of home canning with innovation. Our pickles offer a healthy, delicious snacking option for both kids and adults alike. Thank you for being part of our story! — Team Rick's Picks
Pickled Pink Foods is a gourmet food company based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Formed by friends and business partners Charlie Stephenson and Jim Lawlor, who spent many years in the restaurant business both in operations, and as owners. They have always had a passion for food, people, and most importantly, fun. Over the years Charlie’s wife would have these old family recipe pickles made for the holiday’s over in Huntsville, Alabama, and ironically Charlie himself hates pickles. He did though love these and thought: “if I like these pickles, and I really don’t like any other pickles, then maybe some one else would enjoy them too”.During the Christmas season of 2012, Charlie and Jim began to discuss the beginnings of their food company venture.
Intentional Ingredients. Think About It. Food For Thought was founded over 20 years ago, based on a passion about food, where it comes from and how it impacts our lives and the lives of those that grow it. It all started in 1970, when specialty foods and cocktail garnishes were practically unheard of in North America. What began as a small family project has grown into something extraordinary, thanks to people like you who’ve supported us every step of the way. At Sable & Rosenfeld, we’re more than just a cocktail garnish and specialty food company—we’re about creating moments. That first sip of an after-work martini, a charcuterie board shared with friends, or a perfectly crafted cocktail at your favorite bar, hotel, or restaurant. Our garnishes have found their way into drinks and dishes across North America and the Caribbean, helping to make those moments even better. Everything we create starts with simple, natural ingredients, a passion for flavor, and a commitment to quality. From the farms where we source the best produce to the dedicated team in our warehouse—some with us for over 30 years—every jar we send out carries a little piece of us with it. So here’s to you, our partners and supporters, who’ve helped us turn a dream into a tradition. We’re proud to be part of your journey, bringing people together, one perfect sip or bite at a time. Let’s keep growing and sharing those moments, together.

Wendi’s Good Things Market began in a small restaurant nestled in our rural Southern Colorado town. When the world shifted in 2020, we did too—transforming a corner of the restaurant into a small market that quickly became something more. What started with carrying other brands soon became a full-fledged creative endeavor rooted in our desire to offer products that feel good—in every sense of the word. Today, Wendi’s Good Things Market is a farm-based lifestyle brand offering gourmet food, home goods, skincare, and apparel that embody warmth, hope, and beauty. Every item is thoughtfully developed by our family—recipes we created, products we love, and designs that reflect life on our Colorado flower and produce farm. We believe business can be personal. That kindness is still powerful. And that building a meaningful brand starts with showing up for every customer—wholesale and retail—with heart. From our family farm at the base of Wolf Creek Pass, we’re growing something rooted and real. Our community includes goats, chickens, flower fields, and three generations working together. You’ll see it all on social media, because we don’t just share products—we share a way of life. Follow along @wendisgoodthingsmarket and join us in offering your customers something that’s truly good.
