Founded in 2004, we are woman-owned and operated. Our office is located in the beautiful coastal city of Newport, RI. This is where all the customer service, sales support, product development, and marketing takes place! We offer a diverse range of cards not found in mass retail, with each brand complementing the others. Our humor lines include Rosie Made a Thing and Naughty Betty, while on the design side we distribute Lagom and Louise Tiler from the UK, in addition to publishing our own brand, Carte. Calypso Cards recently partnered with Curly Girl Design, whose distinctive artwork and color combine with words that serve to bring people together.

SO WHO ARE OHH DEER? We’re a greeting card, stationery and gift company operating from our HQ in Loughborough. Founded in 2011, we’re proud to say that Ohh Deer quickly became the established go-to place for contemporary, arty, and funny illustrated products. WHY THE NAME? Well it’s not as exciting as you might think! We made a long list and Ohh Deer is the name we kept coming back to. It’s got the extra ‘h’ because the .com was available - it’s pronounced Oh like Po, not ooh like flu GREETING CARDS Greeting cards are our thang! What makes us unique is our incredible roster of over 100 talented creatives based around the world. They work alongside our fantastic in-house team to bring you a well-rounded and eclectic collection! A share of the revenue goes to every 1 of the 100 artists, which enables us to support every artist we work with. We also have well-known artists/brands such as Gemma Correll, Bob Ross, Hello!Lucky, Cath Kidston, and many more. SUSTAINABILITY We're committed to being plastic-free, all our products are sent either without plastic packaging or with sustainable bio-cello. We lithographically print our cards and they're made from locally and sustainably sourced paper. We only use vegetable and resin inks. Our envelopes are made from recycled paper. And in 2021 we began the process of auditing the entire supply chain for all our products. The Results? All carbon associated with the products and shipping of our greetings cards is now offset.

Our cards are printed locally in Seattle, WA on premium, FSC-certified and recycled paper. The core of our feel-good collection speaks to art enthusiasts, nature lovers, and those simply looking to be inspired. I started Studio Eleven Papers after 13+ years of developing products for a variety of leading brands in the stationery and gift industry. Creating beautiful, high-quality products with a diverse range of illustrators is my passion! I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with independent artists, and being able to offer customers a curated range of warm, inspiring cards from which to choose. There is always something new to discover, as we add new artist collections to the line with each seasonal launch. It allows customers to try a new direction, or perhaps take a chance on a current trend, without the risk of too much commitment to only one look. I take great pride in ensuring that each card's message is thoughtful and personable, inside and out. Almost all of our cards are greeted on the interior. The end consumer often takes comfort in finding cards with the appropriate words for any occasion, considering it can sometimes be a struggle to come up with those words oneself. I founded the brand (formerly The Matt Butler) in 2012 when I quit my fifth grade teaching job to pursue linocut printmaking. Hand printed wall art and TOMS shoes transitioned to greeting cards and gifts in 2015 and we haven’t looked back since. In 2018 the company was rebranded to Pretty Alright Goods after we added new members to our team. We continually work to produce products that are both witty and genuine. Greeting cards and paper products illustrated by Mollie Green - I grew up among the dusty tumbleweeds of Lubbock, Texas. And after moving to the Midwest in high school, I completed a BFA in painting and printmaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Graduation forced the lesson of how to live and work as an artist—that meant retail by day, artist by night. Attempting to integrate retail skills with artistic training and a love of multiples led to the birth of La Familia Green in 2005. I am a fourth generation small business owner. I love the immediacy and intimacy of cards. You buy a card, write a note and send it out into the world. I never know how many people will experience - hold, use, enjoy - my work. I also love that I can easily and quickly express my interests through this medium. As new card ideas come to me, I jot them down in notes app. And all illustrations are done by hand, by me. Running and rescue pets are my passions. I donate 10% a month back to local charities. I am also proud to be vegan - so keep in mind that all of those corndogs and nachos in my work are plant based! ;)

Michele Lee is a designer and printer and much of her creative inspiration comes from music, memories and irreverent things. After having learned letterpress in New York City and screen printing from old art class instructions, a great fondness for printing and color experimentation developed and Lucky Horse Press was born with the mission to create general happiness for all. Michele makes all of the printed goods available in the shop from her studio in the Garden State, where some of the best things in life are easily accessible - beaches, yard sales and bowling alleys.
