When her child was born with a severe version of cradle cap, a condition that causes dry, scaly patches on the scalp, Natasha began to explore natural soap products that could help soothe and nourish her baby's sensitive skin. Through this journey, she discovered the benefits of natural ingredients like olive and coconut oil, and realized all-natural bath and body care products could benefit anyone, not just those with sensitive skin. As we continued to create bath and body care products, we found our mission was not limited to providing safe and effective options for sensitive skin. I am an urban transplant.  Six weeks after our wedding, my cowboy husband whisked me out of the city to a foreign land, filled with hay & goats.  I was fascinated (and, to be honest, slightly terrified). Our dairy goat saga began in 2009.  Our toddler had trouble digesting cow milk, and my husband, being a 4th generation Texas Goat Rancher, was confident that fresh goat milk would be easiest on his tummy.  So, being the romantic man he is, my cowboy bought me a Nubian dairy goat, Dakota, for Valentine’s Day.  I fell in love.  Thus, Nuluv.  For the next few months, we added to our herd at every opportunity.  As our herd grew, I learned more about dairy goats, raw milk, and the benefits of goat milk for sensitive skin.  The wheels in my head began to turn. I began researching skin care recipes and baby products (my toddler also came with oodles of skin issues) and bouncing ideas off my husband - he has a mind for business and was very enthusiastic about my dreams. Within 6 months, God had taken this wild hair and created a business. These days, Nuluv is a full scale indie skin care company. We operate with 4 milk maids, 2 milk men, and roughly 200 dairy goats. Nuluv is the largest goat dairy in Texas that operates without machines (we are committed to being a cruelty free dairy) and all of our goodies are 100% handcrafted on our farm, in our own production facility. I am still fascinated (and no longer terrified) by this land filled with hay & goats.

We are a brother and sister team that has always been interested in handcrafted items for the bath, body, and home. We started out making products for ourselves and our friends and family, and we were so happy with the positive feedback that we decided to share our love of our carefully crafted products with the world! I have always enjoyed lovely products, beautiful scents, and spending sacred moments in self care. The moment I became responsible for a new life, my first son, the study of ingredients in every household and body product I owned became my new reality. My goal was to change our home environment and improve what our bodies are exposed to. My greatest inspiration in life is drawn from the beauty of completely wild spaces. IT ALL STARTED WHEN... Back in February of 2013 I decided to wean our youngest and put her on cow’s milk. We had no idea that she was allergic to it and she broke out in a full-body rash. Well crap. I did a little researching on options and we settled on goat’s milk after reading that many people who are intolerant to cow’s milk proteins can happily down goat’s milk all day long. The milk we bought at our beloved H-E-B tasted like wet shoes so we decided to buy our first milk goat. We found Sarah, a beautiful dark Nubian dairy goat who was already in milk. A few YouTube videos later and we were milking away! Fast forward a few months——————> I had been buying handmade goat milk soap from a lady who sold it at a Market Days (outdoor shopping) nearby. Market Days is only once a month ‘round here and she didn’t show up two months in a row. I know - the nerve of this lady to have something else to do that day. Just kidding.....sort of. My #1 has got ridiculously sensitive skin that breaks out in a full-body rash when coming in contact with common chemicals that most of us can tolerate. Since goat milk soap is all she can use, goat milk soap was gettin’ made. Back to YouTube I go. Welp - things happened. I found I liked making soap. My house smelled great, my skin rejoiced, and creative juices were flowing. Turns out there are a lot of people I know that have sissy la la skin that needed to ditch the Dial.
