BRACENET is a Hamburg-based company that has been fighting for the protection of the seas since 2018. Together with partner organizations Healthy Seas and Ghost Diving, they recover so-called "ghost nets" - lost or deliberately discarded fishing nets in the sea - which pose a significant threat to marine life and ecosystems. In elaborate upcycling handcraft in Hamburg and Porto, BRACENET processes these old fishing nets into bracelets, keychains, and many other products. Through sales, BRACENET regularly donates to marine conservation - so far over 272,000 euros!
