We are Beatnik & Sons, a Brazilian design company that produces backpacks, bags, and travel accessories made by adventurers for adventurers. We were born in Curitiba, Brazil, in 2001 by a third-generation leather artisan. Since then, we have been producing quality products with a dedication to superior design. Our style is contemporary and exclusive, made for those looking for versatile pieces with a refined finish. All of our products are produced in our studio in Brazil using only Brazilian raw materials. Our leather and canvas suppliers have more than 100 years of history in their fields. Developing production and empowering the local economy is our commitment. All of our production is done by Brazilian artisans, paid fairly, and working in appropriate conditions to apply their technical and artistic skills. There is no exploited labor involved in the production and creation of our products. We do this in order to respect the people who work with us, generating knowledge and value for our artisans. As a company in the final stages of B Corp. certification, we are always concerned with establishing fair remuneration for our artisans, we believe that the use of more sustainable and durable raw materials means more value to our products and to what our customers receive. We believe sustainability means creating products that last longer, generating less waste, and less need for repurchase. This is why we take our Made-to-Last philosophy so seriously.

Every MAHI bag is lovingly handmade to order, that way we reduce waste and personalise the bag to your requirements. These bags are handmade in India by artisans skilled in traditional leather craft; they are designed in London for the urban traveller, stylish and made to last. The MAHI bag uses the simple beauty of natural materials: 100% supple Indian cows’ leather, dyed with natural vegetable dyes; 100% cotton linings, sturdy brass fittings and YKK zips. My designs are classically simple but with an attention to detail that makes these bags far more than just a fashion accessory: handles that are sturdy and comfortable to hold, straps that are fully adjustable and padded; carefully placed pockets for security and convenience. MAHI takes its name from the MAHI river that runs through Rasjasthan and Gujarat on its three hundred and sixty mile course. For many this is a sacred river and in a country where one hundred and three million people lack safe water its significance is more than symbolic; that’s why MAHI donates $1.50 from the sale of each bag to Frank Water, a UK based charity which has helped over three hundred thousand people gain access to clean water since 2005. So far we've donated enough money to provide over 4 million people in India with water testing kits.

Our mission is simple: create a collection of USA-made bandanas in cool patterns, soft yet strong enough for city strolls, kitchen hustles, camping trips and more. After satisfying many happy customers with our Etsy shop Maryink, we created Abracadana in 2019 as our new brand focusing on bandanas. Our classic bandanas are hand screen printed by us onto 100% cotton, tightly woven quilting fabric. Like an old fashioned bandana, these are discharge printed, meaning the ink “discharges” the fabric’s dye, leaving a super soft print that's visible on the back.

We believe in making and owning (few) things that last, that fit seamlessly into your life, that work hard and look great. That’s why we take our time through the design and testing process so our products stand up to daily wear. We also believe in partnerships which is why we source materials from respected leather tanneries and textile mills. We believe it's worth the effort to go just a little further with our materials and sources, even when it feels like something is "good enough." For this company, the values that make the brand must be apparent. Design, ethical sourcing, transparency, community - we take all these into careful consideration. If a product we make or carry doesn't hold these dear and integral, it doesn't become a part of our brand.

Christina Fagan Pardy started Sh*t That I Knit (STIK) in 2014 as a creative outlet - a way to share her knitting projects with her friends and family. After selling out of her designs at a local Boston market in 2014, Christina made the decision to quit her “day job” selling tech software in 2015, and scaled production to Peru in 2016. Today, STIK sells handcrafted knitwear for every season - beanies, mittens, wraps, sweaters, blankets, and more. Over the foundation of friendship, we established a socially responsible Guatemalan company that follows Fair Trade Principles, born in 2015 with the interest of bringing development to communities in rural areas, add value in quality and design to Guatemalan ancestral craftsmanship, and display Guatemala as the beautiful country it is to the world. Threads of wool and cotton are interweaved to tell the history of the ancient Mayan civilization. We transform these handwoven fabrics into unique products to offer people from all over the world a glimpse of what our culture represents and provide the care that only a handmade process achieves. We work alongside more than 50 artisans in 7 different rural areas of Guatemala to develop the materials that later we use to manufacture all of our products in our facilities. We offer handcrafted wool and leather bags, handwoven wool and cotton rugs, scented candles on hand-painted ceramic, handwoven table mats and table runners, essential oils organizers with vintage weavings, natural palm hats, and much more! In all of our collections, details have been carefully crafted, we add value to ensure durability, and only high-quality materials have been used.
