About September Skye Bags & Accessories

My shop started in 2010 after having my 2nd little girl. I have been selling my creations locally for the past couple years and have remained steadily busy. I decided in May of 2013 to make the step to broaden my own business to others outside of my community. September was the month my 1st daughter was born and Skye is my 2nd daughter's middle name. Since I make all things girlie, they needed to be included in the shop heritage.

Phoenix Revolution Press

From the Spirituous to the Spiritual, we’ve got you covered. I’m an eclectic/kitchen/green witch. Food and drinks are my favorite spells to brew. Potions, libations, stews, and brews. My husband and I grow most of the herbs we use in our household and infuse them into our food and drinks. A bay leaf in a stew isn’t merely a seasoning. A muddle of mint in a mojito adds more than just its crisp clean flavor. Herbs have magical and medicinal properties that we are imparting in all of our potions. We also add intention to our food, drinks, and candle making. Spells, intentions, manifesting, candle magick, divination, and so much more have been a part of my daily magical life for as long as I can remember and we recently decided to weave them more fully into our business. I love locally sourced, handcrafted goods, herbs, and food in my personal life and practice and felt a strong pull to bring more of that to my spiritual community. That is how Phoenix Revolution Press was born. We design, print, and press our products in our Raleigh, NC studio. This allows us to design custom pieces as well as name drop your location on any of our designs. Send us a message and we'll make the magick.

MANDRN

After making the decision to leave behind the comforts of home in Vancouver, MANDRN’s founder Kelly packed her bags and headed to Bali to pursue a life inspired by the freedom of new beginnings. After settling into local life in Bali (think scooter transport, weekend travel and a constant day-to-night hustle) Kelly realized it was nearly impossible to find a functional yet timeless travel bag that was also ethically made and sustainably produced. Empowered by her new community and ever-changing surroundings, she decided to take matters into her own hands and create one herself. The story of MANDRN is one of local inspiration, communities brought together by a common quest and the creativity that follows when you pursue your wildest dreams. Proof that function and style can co-exist as one, MANDRN’s story comes to life through timeless and versatile designs that keep your essentials close (and your hands-free) from day ‘til night. At MANDRN, we’re committed to supporting to the local community who first helped make our dreams a reality. Each bag is handcrafted with love by incredible Mexican and Balinese artisans working for small, family-run businesses that support fair-trade and ethical production – further supporting our goal of connecting businesses with artisans around the globe. Together with our continuous journey towards more sustainable business practices, the purchase of each MANDRN bag means you can look great while doing even better.

frabjousfibers.com

Born from a love of textiles and fiber, and built upon the desire to create a healthy work/life balance steeped in color and texture, Frabjous Fibers and Wonderland Yarns lives and breathes in Brattleboro, VT, where all the magic happens. The story of Frabjous Fibers begins with owner Stephanie Shiman, some recycled silk yarn, a knitted bag design, and a few boxes of imports stashed under the dining room table. The business grew organically from dining room to attic to house take-over to studio to bigger studio. A one-woman operation grew organically, over the course of a decade, from one to three to a dozen-strong team. While still supporting worker-cooperatives in Nepal with our inventory of recycled silk yarns and handfelted notions bags (designed by Stephanie), Frabjous Fibers produces a full line of hand dyed fibers and yarns in-house. From 100% superwash merino, to lustrous luxury fibers, the bases in our Wonderland Yarns line shine in dozens of tonal and variegated colorways. Inspired by the colorful adventures of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and the ever-breathtaking landscape of southern Vermont, our creative spark is always lit. Our team is a family, we love what we do, and we hope you can feel it when you work with Frabjous Fibers and Wonderland Yarns on your next project!
