True Lucia was created and founded by artist Gianna Lucia when she decided art needed to be more than just a canvas on a wall in a museum or home. Art needed to be seen in everyday life, when running an errand, when out for drinks, etc. which is where True Lucia was formed when creating art that's wearable... wearable art. True Lucia is wearable art. Every graphic tee, tote bag, design we create is from an original painting or design Gianna created bringing each piece of art to life by not only making it affordable and more accessible but making art into fashion and apart of everyday life for everyone even the ones who don't believe they're "artsy." Every item is created by Gianna Lucia in Charleston. Sewing, hand dying, hand printing, and hand painting all fabric items as well as messing around with beads, resin, tufting, and all that other jazz to give you a wide assortment of funky, fun goodies for everyone. True Lucia is for the funky and fun. Through our bright colored art pieces we hope to empower those who wear our items and those who see our items on others. You'll be sure to smile when you see our pieces and that's our goal to make you and everyone around you feel good.
