In a small Puglian village in Southern Italy, Mauro Spina's grandma Sabina Rinelli taught him about the health and beauty secrets of plants. He gathered fragrant herbs, roots, and flowers in the nearby hills for her, and would watch as she expertly composed and blended her all-natural soaps, lotions, and shampoos. As a top hairstylist and licensed trichologist (study of hair and scalp) in Europe's most renowned salons from Vergotini's in Milan, Carita in Paris, to Leonard's of London, Mauro opened his own hair salons in Beverly Hills as well where he offered an exclusive line of beauty and hair products. But it wasn't until he met and married life-long pet lover Snaiga, Spina Organic's co-founder, that Mauro was introduced to the rich world of pet companionship. When their first dog Tina suffered from terrible skin problems, the Spinas insisted on a natural solution to vets' recommendations of steroids and medicated baths. With Mauro’s expertise in natural beauty products, Spina Organics was born. With Mauro turning his attention to making pets look as beautiful as his Beverly Hills celebrity clientele, Spina Organics is able to provide safe and natural products to help everybody’s fur baby keeping their coat healthy and clean.
