Our Founder, Laura Logan, is from New Orleans, Louisiana and during her continued self discovery journey as an adult, she noticed that the beauty industry lacked supporting self-worth and self love. Bullying and society's beauty standards tarnished the meaning of self-love and self-worth by imposing vanity on men, women and children. So to combat the need to perfect beauty, she decided to create a brand that elevates self-worth through powerful thought provoking brand messaging. This is how Supreme Skin Society, the Affirmation and WORTHY collections were born. Her mission is to give the gift of self-worth, self-love and self-awareness and in doing so, touch as many people, especially people of color, to heal and shift the narrative surrounding beauty and mental health (awareness).
