Oliver the Ornament is a seven-book series and related gift line that celebrates the tradition of Christmas ornaments. The story focuses on an ornament named Oliver who’s a bit challenged, and yet is able to overcome all odds to save the day. The first book is sold as a gift-set, while all subsequent books are sold as stand-alone books with the companion ornament also avaiable. ARTifact began in 2010 as a tiny brick-and-mortar classroom tucked away in a secret little pocket of San Francisco. Once upon a time, Educational Development Corporation began with a focus on educational material. However, it didn't take us long to discover our true passion: books children actually like to read! The vision became apparent, and we realized that together we could change the world one book at a time. EDC was founded in 1965 to develop supplemental curriculum materials for schools and in 1978 began publishing books. In 2008, EDC acquired Kane Miller Books, award winning publishers of children's books from around the world. Kane Miller's list includes the hugely popular "Everyone Poops", along with the successful and innovative Shine-a-Light series, and the bestselling "All Better". In 2021, EDC acquired Learning Wrap-ups, a unique line of children's educational manipulatives created by a 4th grade schoolteacher in northern Utah to help her students gain automatic recall of basic math facts. The initial line up has grown to include other subjects, and Learning Wrap-ups continue to be used today in classrooms and homes worldwide. In 2022, EDC acquired SmartLab Toys. Since 2004, SmartLab Toys' STEAM products have earned more than 50 of the toy industry's most prestigious awards, including Oppenheim Platinum awards and Good Housekeeping Best Toy awards. Together, these three product lines are well-aligned with EDC's mission of expanding children's literacy. We believe that games are a gift with the ability to bring people together. Through play we can build valuable skills and strengthen relationships. We both create and manufacture our own games and assist other inventors and manufactures in distributing their games. All of the games we distribute have been hand chosen by the owners of our family business.

Launched in 2019, the Gracious Gobbler was created to help families focus on the connection between kindness and gratitude. In a world where our lives can become very hectic, it allows individuals to be more intentional every day in focusing on the kindness we can bring to others and feeling gratitude for the kindness others have shown to us. This seasonal tradition encourages families and classrooms to create a habit of kindness that will continue on throughout the year. This month-long tradition is introduced the beginning of November with a beautifully illustrated picture book. Our soft plush turkey is meant to be loved and its presence serves as a gentle reminder to be kind, slow down and be more mindful each day. A notecard is left from “the turkey” each evening recognizing an individual for their efforts in showing kindness and read aloud the following morning. It is a way to reflect each day on the positive moments and to show appreciation and recognition to members of the family or classroom.

Chunky Deli (formerly BlueMilk) was forged out of a longstanding friendship between two gals obsessed with good food and design. After becoming mothers, Caitlin and Christina set out to encourage their children to be comfortable, curious, and creative in the kitchen from an early age. This led to countless ideas about how to shine light on some of the more unexpected wonders of the culinary world with not only kids, but adults too! Starting with board books about novel foods, culminating in ‘Little Books: Culinary Collection’, Chunky Deli continues to develop products that encourage a child’s exploration and learning in the kitchen. From books and toys, to apparel, we continue to look for fun and whimsical ideas hidden in the kitchen.
