Since opening in 2000, we’ve earned a local reputation as the go-to choice for homemade, Italian-inspired cuisine. Prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and served with our hospitality from the heart. Since then, we’ve expanded into Concord, Belmont, Wellesley and continue growing. After years of selling our renowned marinara and Fra Diavolo sauces by the jar at Fiorella’s restaurants, we are now bringing these delectably crafted sauces to Faire! We’re excited to bring these tried-and-true, generations-loved sauces to your table. We know Fiorella’s family of sauces will soon become a pantry staple!

In 1930, at the impressionable age of ten, Mario Foah tied on an apron and began cultivating his interest in food alongside his mother in the kitchen of their home in Naples, Italy. The oldest of five children, he loved to cook for his younger siblings. His love of the kitchen became a lifelong passion. Many years later after he moved to New York, Mario dreamed of bringing the flavor of meals his mother cooked to a much larger audience. He started his own company, and chose AMORE as the brand name because, “Love is universal and nobody is against it.” Mario returned to Italy often in search of great products and in 1978 discovered concentrated paste tubes made from fresh Italian ingredients. Having seen nothing like it in the USA, he knew that it was exactly the type of product that he could be proud to sell.

I’ve worked tirelessly to make my dream of Pizza Girl come to life. I got pretty far on my own and was stocked in all the finest supermarkets in California. I did all the tastings personally ....and was often in the factory in a hairnet jarring each bottle myself. It was a dream come true when I finally saw my family recipes, which I reimagined, on the shelves. I found so much joy when personally meeting every single customer that bought a jar during these tastings. It was truly fulfilling. Sadly, then the pandemic hit, and organic ingredients were quickly bought up by bigger companies. Add to that some personal issues, and I lost it all! Every jar of Pizza Girl sauce was sold in two days and I had to watch it being replaced by other products. It was a heartbreak like I have never experienced. I felt beyond defeated, but I also knew it was a really tough time for lots of people. When I was finally done feeling sorry for myself I reached deep down and decided to get up and get it together. I took 6 months of downtime to begin to figure out how to start again. I had nothing but a dream and a trademark but I am so grateful that the pandemic showed me what was important in my life and I was able to use the inspiration of my daughter to rebuild. I paused, then surrounded myself with like-minded partners and restructured from the ground up using all that I had learned, and a crazy determination.

Dell'Amore Marinara was originally the recipe of our grandmother Filomena, who grew up in the town of Agropoli, in the Campania region of southern Italy. The photograph of her on our label was taken in 1914. Filomena emigrated to the U.S. in 1924. She settled in Brooklyn, NY and raised a family there. Her children and grandchildren swore she was the best cook in the world. The love and care that grandmother Filomena put into her cooking has become a family tradition and a trademark of Dell’Amore Marinara Sauce today. We began bottling her signature marinara under the Dell’Amore name in 1986, making us one of the of early pioneers of premium, authentic pasta sauce being sold to the public. Dell’Amore continues to win accolades from customers and food critics alike. Today, Dell’Amore continues to produce exceptional sauces that would make Grandmother Filomena proud.
