YAPA make beautiful 100% baby alpaca knitwear from New York ethically made in Bolivia.Our knits are basic pieces with a fun twist made to last. Each piece is thoghtfully designed and made by artisans using traditional knitting techniques in one of the finest natural fibers in the world. YAPA is trying to make clothing in a mindful way one knit at the time. We believe quality is an investment in the future and that clothing ought to be made in a mindful way.

Ophelia & Indigo was created in the midst of the pandemic by friends Claire and Lucy, who both relocated to New York with their families from London due to work. Former fashion buyer and ethical sourcing specialist, Claire and Lucy, who has a background in PR and copywriting, initially met through their children’s school in Brooklyn. They later worked together on a number of professional projects. During long-walks and chats throughout lock-down, a vision for what a fashion brand might look like emerged based on their similar aesthetic, passions and a desire to create something with purpose (Click here to read about their partnership with the Pajama Program). The starting point was to design the perfect throw-on dress for the heat of the New York summer, made from carefully selected, ethically sourced Indian printed cotton at an affordable price-point. Inspiration was drawn from the vintage pieces Claire had sourced on her many buying trips across the world but with a modern update and the collection evolved from there.

Our slow fashion ethos rejects seasons and trends, instead creating timeless, well-made clothes that you can love forever. We use gorgeous organic cotton and linen as our signature fabric - it’s strong and planet-friendly, and super-comfortable to boot. It even softens with age! Every part of our clothes, from the buttons down to the elastics, is 100% natural, sustainable and compostable. We are proud to be plastic free and vegan. From cool jumpsuits to versatile sets soft enough for pyjamas, fancy enough as a fun evening outfit and comfy enough to chill out it. Our clothes are designed to be fun and versatile. Hi I’m Samantha, so nice to meet you and welcome to the Melody Faye Family! I own a small brand based in North Carolina called Melody Faye - we started everything up in 2012! I started this business as a hobby out of our little duplex when my husband and I first got married. I was literally only getting 1-2 sales a month, but after a bit things really started to take off and we were hardly keeping items in stock (it blows my mind to think about this!). Over the years I was able to quit my corporate job, hire an entire team of girl bosses, and in 2019 my husband was also able to quit his corporate job to join us. I live with my husband and 2 year old son on a beautiful farm in rural Kentucky. The inspiration for this shop came in the months after our daughter, Evie Pearl, was born sleeping in May of 2021. We wanted something to dedicate to her and keep her alive in our hearts. Our shop's name is in honor of her as well as an ode to the many "Pearls" of wisdom and strength we find in scripture every day. It is our prayer that the products in our shop touch and inspire the lives they come in contact with. We are a small family-run shop so we do not keep a large stock on hand and usually order supplies as your orders come in - which explains a little longer turn around time. By making our items to order, we can ensure that we are only producing what our customers need, therefore avoiding unnecessary waste. We also reuse packaging whenever possible to reduce our carbon footprint. Our shirts with single-color designs are screen printed by us using a soft-hand feel water-based ink. Shirts with full color designs are made using high quality DTF transfers sourced from a local KY business and pressed with a commercial heat press.
