At Peet Bros,. we make better personal care products without the palm oil. Instead of palm oil we use lots of Shea butter and olive oil for better moisturizing in our soaps and lotions. Palm oil is a leading ingredient in 70% of personal care items. And while palm oil itself isn’t so bad, the palm oil industry destroys rainforests to harvest oil and is notorious for human rights violations. To restore some of the rainforest that the palm oil industry has destroyed, we’ve partnered with 1% for the Planet and Rainforest Trust to support and protect endangered species, threatened rainforests and other tropical ecosystems around the world. Our donations protect real acres of rainforest! We strive to be as low-impact on the environment as we can, which is why we also work hard to minimize waste and the impact packaging has on our ecosystem. All cartons are made from pre-consumer waste cardboard and all bottles and travel tins are made of infinitely recyclable aluminum.Read their story
