OIL is “all around the olive.” We are a Berlin-based company with roots in Greece. We are dedicated to producing pure Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil and other organic products from olives. The Koroneiki olives for OIL, our organic extra virgin olive oil, come from Andania near Kalamata, Greece. They grow there on our own land and that of our partner Ilias, who runs the oil mill. Our olives are harvested by hand, without damaging birds or soil, and processed into oil in the oil mill contractually bound to us under our supervision. This processing is carried out by a centrifuge and not by pressing, which is currently considered the most gentle processing method. Oil is extracted cold within a few hours of harvesting and filled into UV-protected and temperature-insulating canisters. Preserving the taste of the olives and all ingredients is our top priority. The oil of the small green Koroneiki olive is considered one of the highest quality olive oils in the world due to its rich ingredients. In addition to our own organic olive oil, we sell the extra virgin olive oil from our neighboring farmers in Andania under the name A!. We offer our OELIVES, certified organic edible olives, in raw food quality, marinated with herbs, without brine. They are particularly aromatic and crisp.
