About Modern Sprout

Home, grown. We got our start by being really into eating (who’s not?). The fresh, homegrown herbs that we desired were not supported by our yard-less home and busy lifestyle. By making our own hydroponic system that hadn’t yet existed in a seamless, beautiful and accessible way, we grew foolproof plants and even maintained our self-esteem (after a few tries). Modern Sprout was founded by two regular thumb-colored people inside our Chicago home. We create thoughtfully crafted products to simplify plants and indoor gardening, so you feel good. At Modern Sprout, we see gardening as meditative and thoroughly rewarding, yet we understand it’s not without its headaches. Our mission is simple: uncomplicate indoor gardening.
