Aid Through Trade

Up to 15% off

Aid Through Trade is a Founding Member of the Fair Trade Federation and is the only authorized provider of Fair Trade Roll-On® Bracelets. Your purchase provides women with fair income + benefits in a safe and healthy work environment. Aid Through Trade empowers women by creating opportunity through beautifully designed jewelry. While teaching in the late '80s as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal, Damian Jones became inspired by the artisans of the Kathmandu Valley and intrigued by the use of glass beads in the Nepalese culture. Damian visited many artisans and artisan groups in various regions of Nepal, and observed the artisans as they created unique jewelry designs. Damian recognized that although the designs varied from place to place, there was one undeniable constant across all villages: Women’s lives changed dramatically when they had an income. Upon his return to the United States, Damian began to conceptualize the idea of working with artisans in a fair, dignified manner as a way to improve their lives. Damian quickly realized that if he were going to succeed in a global marketplace, he would need to emphasize continual design and re-design. After traveling back to Nepal numerous times, Damian actualized his vision in 1993, founding Aid Through Trade, a fashion design company with ethics, and introducing to the world for the first time to The Original Roll-On® Bracelet.

Urban Gemms

My name is Amanda Lanigan and I’m the founder, owner, designer, and creator of Urban Gemms Wholesale. Im an Air Force wife, stay at home business owner and mommy to our little girl Chandler Rae, and a fur mom of two beautiful dogs Macie and Bailey. My husband is surrounded by females! I started by opening up my own boutique back in 2016 and selling my items at retail. Later I decided to dabble into the wholesale side because I thought it would be fun to have that extra side business along with my boutique. Eventually it flourished into me only wanting to work in wholesale instead of retail! I so much rather enjoy working direct with retailers! It gives me the opportunity to have my customer base that I enjoyed in retail, while also working with fellow business owners who are like minded and have the same interests as I. I love coming up with new creations and color schemes for my earrings, finding new patterns and designs for my headbands, and launching new collections! I try my best to launch new products weekly, but launch new collections monthly! I pride myself on having great customer service and working hard to make my retailers happy! I will always try my hardest to make a bad situation right (although there hasn’t been many bad situations that I have encountered thus far). I would love to make every customer happy and wanting to return for more!

Junk And The Gypsy

Hello! My name is Melissa. Junk And The Gypsy started in October of 2020. We are located in Moore, TX. I started this business on my own on a different platform and soon my husband had to start helping me on his free time. I had been pondering starting something new other than the Apple N Spice fragrance that I sell. I saw a few pieces of the upcycled jewelry in a boutique and loved them. I started my research and was on a mission. I have been into markets and trading for over 40 years and I love challenges. My hobbies include art, painting, crafting, leatherwork, jewelry making and some woodworking. My desire is to bring an affordable piece of luxury and design to anyone who walks into a boutique or shop. I shop for high quality crystals which makes my jewelry stand out. We also use one of the best leathers on the market for our fringe and straps. These pieces are stylish, fashionable, trending, and in my opinion ~ will never go out of style.

Project Have Hope

Project Have Hope is a collaborative of over 100 Ugandan artisans. Using recycled paper to create unique beads, and combining them with glass, metal and clay beads, artisans craft inspired jewelry designs that are on trend. Offering a selection of bold, statement pieces and colorful everyday, stackable bracelets, the appeal is unlimited and unmatched. Made by hand, each piece is truly a work of art. This wearable art also truly makes an impact to this impoverished community in Uganda. Through the sale of these crafts, children receive an education. Women receive business loans to expand their entrepreneurial spirit. And dreams become reality.
