At Faire, we’re always on the lookout for the latest trends to keep your shop freshly stocked with what people want most. We also recognize that every retailer has different goals, whether you’re hoping to build out a home goods selection in your larger retail space, capitalize on your Gen Z audience, bring in more giftable accessories, or have a mix of all of the above. This is why we put together monthly reports like this one—created from Faire’s unique data insights. From top searches and the viral trends that drive them to specific product recommendations, we have everything you need as you begin your summer sales discovery.
Let’s dig into the trends.
Tropical escapes

Season three of The White Lotus has us all craving the luxury of the tropics. Indeed, “The ‘White Lotus Effect’ influences location and decor choices,” reports Forbes. Searches for “White Lotus” on Faire increased 11x from December 2024 to March 2025 as retailers are starting to pick up on the allure.
So how can you help shoppers re-create the vibe at home? (Without the murder, of course.) House Beautiful describes The White Lotus set thus: “Luxurious, biophilic and rooted in spirituality, it’s a jewel-toned paradise rich with playful symbolism. Lush greens, deep blues and vivid oranges dominate.… Like a light-dappled forest, every room is a careful balance of light and shadow.”
In practice, this sense of luxury and spirituality can be created with candles and soft mood lighting. Indoor plants are a must, and jewel tones and natural fibers (think: jute and rattan) will help shoppers shape their living spaces into their own little tropical escapes. Perhaps this is why we saw a huge jump in searches for rattan chandeliers between January and February—up 138%—and a 115% increase in searches for indoor plants from December 2024 to March 2025.
Need some product recommendations? We have plenty of ideas for your White Lotus–inspired collection. To start, there’s The White Lotus notebook and a silky sleep mask for journaling before a restful slumber. (An exotic White Lotus candle would make a nice gift too.) When it comes to home decor and accessories, Artifacts Trading Company makes a selection of rattan goods to transform any room into a tropical paradise, and the tulip-shade pendants from River of Goods are the essential quiet luxury piece for anyone looking to get in on this trend.
Mahjong parties

On Faire, searches for mahjong leaped up 133% from December 2024 to March 2025. The 200-year-old Asian tile game looks to be having a resurgence among Gen Z and millennials; it’s popping up at bars and going viral on TikTok.
As people try to reduce phone time and prioritize their mental health, they’re coming around the table again, forming clubs, playing—and accessorizing too. While the game is steeped in tradition, it looks like mahjong can take on a range of aesthetics, from Western to ’80s and even to Southern charm.
Want to stock your shop with mahjong tile sets and accessories to set the mood for a party? Here are some of our favorites:

Aesthetic board games and the millennial coffee table

“Board games have recently had a luxurious glow up, and we are seeing some of the most stylish people we know use them as decoration in their homes to add interest to a coffee table or sideboard,” reports Homes & Gardens.
Gone are the days when chunky books and magazines gather dust on coffee tables. Today’s design-forward crowd is all about functional decor. And when it comes to their precious surface space, they’re displaying games: ones guests can grab and enjoy together at a moment’s notice.
On Faire, searches for board games spiked 267% from January to February, and searches for chess and Monopoly are up too (26% and 195%, respectively).
Of course, these games aren’t frumpy—millennials are going for eye-catching designs, like this modern and colorful chess board or vibrant backgammon board. Give shoppers a choice of chess or checkers with this ombre lucite board, or keep things simple (and simply luxurious) with a marble tic-tac-toe board. And you don’t have to be a kid to love this statement-making connect four. Glow-up, indeed.
Tarot explorations

During chaotic times, we often try to find ways to bring order or find meaning. Perhaps this is the drive behind the recent tarot and oracle trend, especially among Gen Z shoppers (who are flocking to TikTok to “discover their destiny”). According to Harper’s Bazaar, it’s not just celebrities who are getting excited about tarot (Christina Ricci has her own tarot deck), but notable designers and artists, too, are inspired by the magic and the meaning behind the cards.
On Faire, we’re seeing similar interest, with searches for tarot up 36% from December 2024 to March 2025. Over that same time, searches for “oracle” increased by 46%, and searches for “rune stones” increased by 66%.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore the wellness space or your shop is already a witchy haven, we have some ideas to help you get in on this mystical trend.
